Biographical note: Born in Danzig, Suzanne Eisendieck studied at the city's Academy of Fine Arts before moving to Paris. She began exhibiting in Paris in 1929 at the Salon des Independants and worked in a style inspired by French Impressionists such as Monet and Renoir.
