The firm hired a team of designers, including industrial designer Walter Dorwin Teaque and sculptor Sidney Waugh, to contribute designs for etched and engraved decoration to enliven the new colorless glass pieces. Waugh is best known for his engraved designs, which often featured stylized Art Deco figures or fauna.
