Description
Translation provided by Youdao
Composed of a sheet bronze band, the edges turned outwards, slanting slightly upwards and downwards. Originally attached at the back by means of three slits, made by piercing the overlapping ends of the metal band. The connecting medium (possibly made of organic material) is no longer preserved. A boss ornament in the centre at the front, surrounded by three circular lines in the middle of a cross made of cross arms with three dots and a boss at the end. Extending outwards on both sides, the motif of a boss surrounded by three circular lines repeated twice and superimposed. The same motif appearing again towards the back, between a vertical row of five bosses and two vertical rows of dots. Dark brown patina, which allows the metal base to shimmer through in places (referred to as "swamp patina" due to being stored in a moist environment). Minimal chipping along the edge, otherwise intact. Width of the band 5 cm. Diameter 18 cm. Condition: II - III
