Elaborate craftsman with a plenitude of drawers and cabinets in traditional Rococo style design, with large rectangular desk top surmounting dual cabinets locking doors below three locking desk drawers, surmounted by a large and impressively carved footed upper section with dual cabinets having locking doors with oval hand painted miniature figural paintings of 18th Century Baroque style lovers in court. Exemplary carved scroll and flourish designs throughout. Ornate brass fittings and hardware, with working locks to all four (4) cabinet doors and all five (5) secretary drawers, apanied by two (2) keys. Felt to desk top. No apparent signature. Apanied by antique side chair, with solidly built carved wood body and backrest, and having cream fabric backrest and seat cover, later having colorful floral design to top. Bureau measures approximately 63" x 49" x 30". Chair measures approximately 30" x 21" x 18".Dimensions: 63 X 49 X 30 in.Condition: Good overall condition having normal age related surface wear with normal to moderate wear to bottoms.
