A figural work on three panels, with depictions of the Four Evangelists, or Four Apostles, the authors attributed with creating the four canonical Gospel accounts (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John). Each depicted with quill and gospel of the Bible, with a putti angel overhead, possibly the Holy Spirit filling the gospel authors with inspiration.prised of three panels, with arched tops, and ornate brilliant gold gilt borders.
