A Charming Prattware Figure of a Boy in Roman Dress Holding an Exotic Bird. This little boy measures approximately 4 7/8 inches in height and will date from the late 18th to the early 19th century. The last 200 hundred years have been hard on his base resulting in several chips. There is also some loss to the overglaze color on the birds tail and a very tiny chip to one finger on the boys left hand. Please see close up images. A nice piece for collectors of Staffordshire/Pratt children.
