George II walnut long-case grandfather clock, likely 18th century, dial signed William Tennec, the hood with open fretwork frieze and rectangular glazed door flanked by spiral-turned pilaster over the molded door with pendulum aperture and plinth base, the brass dial and ring with Roman chapters and engraved center bearing the maker's signature William Tennec of Reding Fecit and with putti and foliate spandrels, hands possibly replaced, two-train movement with anchor escapement and four pillars striking the hour, backplate of movement stamped Made in England, later fretwork sounding panels. 91.5" H x 15.5" W x 9.5" D.
