作者简介：陈荣昌（1860-1935），字筱圃，号虚斋，又号铁人，返里后，更曰困叟，别号逊农，一号桐村，昆明人。云南近代著名学者，教育家、诗人和书法家。光绪九年（1883）进士，授翰林院编修。督学贵州，迁山东提学使，归主讲经正书院，赴日本考察教育。辛亥革命后，一度任福建宣慰使。工书法，自始即摹颜真卿、钱澧，晚更变而学米，学汉魏南北朝碑版。著有《虚斋诗集文集》、《桐村骈文》、《滇诗拾遗评选》、《剑南诗钞》、《东游日记》、《老易通》、《桐村词》、《明夷子》等数十种。
