~ 18th Century Derby Porcelain Figure Group Of A Cow And A Calf ~ A beautiful 18th century (circa 1790) Derby porcelain figure group of a a cow and a calf. The piece depicts a cow (standing) and her calf (sitting) in front of a tree with flowers on a natural base with flowers. The piece is hand painted in colours with the cow and calf being white with brown highlights. The piece is not marked. ~ Dimensions ~ The piece has a width of 10cm (4 inches) and a height of 15cm (6 inches). It weighs 420g. ~ Condition ~ Some of the leaves and flowers are chipped or missing but due to the overly ornate nature of the piece these damages are not overtly noticeable and do not detract from the overall look of the piece. There are also a couple of chips to the paintwork on the base. The piece is in an otherwise very nice condition with no cracks or signs of repair and presents very well. #5534D
