This 6-1/4” child’s ABC plate looks brand new, with no chips or cracks, and no wearing on the 22 carat gold ABCs around the edge or the brown transfer of a grandmother looking at her treasures in an old trunk, including a child’s shoe and a dolly. The picture is captioned “Memories.” Harker Pottery of East Liverpool, Ohio, made different plates in this style for restaurants and hotels around 1900. The back of the plate is marked only HOTEL. It looks like a porcelain ironstone.
