A Dehua model of weiqi players in a grotto, Qing Dynasty, Kangxi Period, modelled to depict the scene of Wang Zhi and the two weiqi players, the woodcutter standing over the gamesboard with two players seated on either side, the figures backed by a gnarled flowering tree, 10.5 cm high Provenance: The Property of a Lady purchased in the 1950's or 1960's form the London trade.
