提要：拍品缺卷十三至卷十四。吴澄（1249-1333），字幼清，晚字伯清，临川郡崇仁县（今江西省乐安县鳌溪镇咸口村）人。元朝大儒，杰出的理学家、经学家、教育家。自幼聪慧，勤奋好学。南宋末年，考中乡试。南宋灭亡后，隐居家乡，潜心著述，人称“草庐先生”。元武宗至大元年出任国子监丞。至定元年任翰林学士。泰定元年作为经筵讲官，敕修《英宗实录》，参与核定《老子》《庄子》《大玄经》《乐律》《八阵图》等，对《易》《春秋》《礼记》及郭璞《葬书》。
