Wanli (1573-1620), one with a young scholar on a horse crossing a bridge by a lake, his attendant beside him carrying his luggage, the other with a warrior riding on a spotted horse with his soldiers, marching with him in a landscape, both below orchid and lingzhi and above scrolling lotus, the lower sections with cranes and bats in a landscape, all against an apricot silk ground ,
