This jar is decorated with blue and white patterns all over the body, the characters in the picture have different expressions, the colors are suitable for shades, the layout of the picture is sparse and clear, the brushwork is vigorous and smooth, and the painting method is rough and atmospheric. It is a typical utensil of the Jingtai period.
本器唇口，丰肩鼓腹下渐收，圈足。浅宽圈足，沙底无釉。此罐通体青花 纹饰，发色明快，青料浓艳，观之悦目，观其绘画风格，为明代空白期样式。主 题纹饰为高士雅集，情趣盎然。高士衣襟飘逸，神态悠然;童子怀抱宝剑紧随身 后，背景装饰松石、小草、云气，其小草松枝画法简单明了，云气呈灵芝形，上 有层层圈点密布，特征均为景泰时期瓷器所特有。画面运笔流畅，采用一笔勾勒， 特别是中锋运笔所绘流云与人物有独特之处，显示出高超的绘画水平，飘逸感强 烈。画面人物，逆风而行，冠带、衣衫迎风而起。画面人物神情各异，传神入微。 本瓶胎体厚重，釉汁肥厚，青花发色浓淡相宜，画面布局疏朗，笔意雄健流畅， 画法粗犷大气，为景泰时期之典型器物，意趣高古。
