This Buddha statue is extremely special in casting technology and decoration techniques. The carcass is thick, and the clothes are decorated with two rows of beaded patterns, with silver inlaid between the rows, and chiseled patterns on it. The Buddha's face looks like a child's face, with round and plump cheeks, connected nose and eyebrows, a white hair in the middle of the forehead, drooping eyelids, and a slight smile. Wearing a five-leaf holy crown, headdressed with conch hair, neatly arranged, the meat bun is tall, the top is a jewel, and flowers are decorated on the top of the ears, and there are crowns hanging down to the shoulders behind the ears. The head decoration is very gorgeous, and the facial features are relatively close. At the same time, the eyes are as slender as a crescent moon, with facial features of Nepalese statues. The right shoulder is exposed, and the corner of the cassock covers the left shoulder. There are simple and neat fan-shaped pleats between the legs. Sitting in full lotus with bare feet, the right hand hangs down and touches the ground to cast the magic seal, and the palm of the left hand is placed in the meditation seal. The lotus petals are arranged neatly and slender and turned outward. The overall size is tall, made of red copper, the copper body is strong and thick, the gilt is pure and bright, the golden light is brilliant, and the golden color is naturally abrasive.
十二世紀末，由於受到伊斯蘭勢力的不斷入侵，隨著印度各地佛教紛紛消亡，尼泊爾成為影響藏傳佛教藝術的主要源泉。釋迦牟尼佛是佛教的創始人，在佛教中享有至尊的地位，因此在佛教藝術中具有無與倫比的突出表現。此造像優美而雄健的軀體，尤其氣韻生動，譬如圓潤的肩膀和高挺的胸部，都在表現飽滿的肌肉感，體現極高的鑄造工藝水平。整像身形壯碩，面容安詳，挺拔而莊嚴，凸顯出紐瓦爾造像藝術傳統之特色。尼泊爾造像以富於肉感的肌體為審美追求，與早期作品的纖細、柔美形成對比，此項特徵於該尊佛像中體現的甚為明晰。另佛像五葉冠、耳側花結、繒帶樣式均常於見13-14世紀尼泊爾造像中，成為斷定其鑄造年代的依據。此尊佛像在鑄造工藝、裝飾手法上極其特殊，胎體厚度，衣紋飾兩行連珠紋，行間處嵌銀，其上鏨刻花紋，工藝精湛，華麗富貴。佛面相呈童子臉，表情憨厚，體態健碩，神秘又富有特殊的親和力。面相端正，頰頤方圓豐滿，鼻眉線條相連，額中點白毫，眼瞼低垂，表情靜穆柔和，微含笑意。頭戴五葉聖冠，頭飾螺發，排列規整，肉髻高聳，頂嚴為寶珠，雙耳上方飾以花朵，耳後有冠帶垂到肩膀，頭部裝飾非常華麗，而五官較為近靠一起，雙目如彎月般細長，帶尼泊爾造像的面相特徵。右肩袒露，袈裟一角覆搭於左肩，材質如絲般輕薄貼體，腿間有簡單而整齊如扇形排列的衣褶。簡潔的身體裝飾，是為了突顯壯碩的體型，其胸臂渾圓結實，挺拔偉岸，胸肩之間銜接過渡自然完美，雕塑技藝洗練流暢。赤足全跏趺坐，右手下垂結觸地降魔印，左手掌心向上施禪定印，表現佛祖在菩提樹下降魔得道後，呼喚大地之神作見證，神態怡然，故這種造型稱為降魔得道相。蓮瓣排列整齊規矩，細長外翻，立體感極強。整體尺寸高大，比例勻稱，造型端莊，紅銅製成，銅胎結實厚重，鎏金淳明，金光燦爛，金色自然磨蝕，堪稱佛教造像中之精品。很難想像在如今精品匱乏的市場，還可以看到這樣的重器。
