和田玉碧绿，略带浅白色石斑。掏膛成一杯，古而拙朴，器壁一侧站立一螭龙。螭，龙属。玉器上的螭纹则始见于战国时期。另一侧则为兽首衔环耳，寓意美好。腹壁饰兽面纹，线条流畅，随形而作，可谓匠心独运。此件玉壶古而殊特，别具意蕴。
