Qin Dynasty period. The table screen carved in the form of a standing buffalo with head turned back watching the circular 'moon' over above, further carved in shallow relief with a general figure in front, and imperial poem with seal marks in the back, all supported on hardwood stand.
此插屏材料碩大，色澤溫潤翠綠，以犀牛望月為題材，採用漏雕、透雕、淺刻等技法，使故事情節栩栩如生，古意悠悠，令人神往，插屏刀法深峻有力，細膩流暢，佈局景物如畫，質料均佳，包漿潤澤，實為雋品。且有原配木座相輔，若置於書齋，可鑒詩意之美，亦得清賞之樂。
