英文长介绍:This beautiful plaque is crafted of white jade and boasts a pure, delicate texture and smooth luster. The top and the verso of the plaque are adorned with ruyi motifs. At the center is a punched-through hole, allowing for stringing or display. The recto is carved with a lively duo of dragon and phoenix. The dragon is majestic and the phoenix is elegant; both with significance as creatures of good fortune. This white jade plaque is magnificent but humble, made in the style of the old, and serves as an excellent example of Qing royal palace artifacts.

中文长介绍:本件作品為白玉籽料，玉質潔白細膩，潤度極佳。頂部與背面為如意紋，中間有一孔。正面雕有龍鳳，對角相望。龍微仰首，龍角後掠，鬃毛細如遊絲，雙耳貼腦，雙眼飽滿圓凸，尖鼻上翹，頜下長須連於圓孔邊緣。龍身粗壯威武，輾轉騰挪，關節處以火焰紋裝飾，體態逸朗，足爪握起，頗具動感。鳳鳥雕琢線條優美，頂戴花翎，鳳眼微含，尖喙長頸，頜下須密下垂。龍為鱗蟲之長，鳳為百鳥之王，都是祥瑞之物。龍鳳相配便呈吉祥，習稱「龍鳳呈祥紋」。此件作品古樸華美，頗具仿古風格，蘊含裝飾趣味，是清代宮廷的精彩之作。
