作者简介：马叙伦(1885-1970)，字彝初，更字夷初，号石翁，寒香，晚号石屋老人。浙江杭县(今余杭)人。现代学者、书法家。曾任商务印书馆《东方杂志》编辑、《新世界学报》主编、《政光通报》主笔，后又执教于广州方言学堂、浙江第一师范、北京大学等。1949 年任政务院文化教育委员会副主任，中央人民政教育部部长、高等教育部部长等职。
