Pair of late 19th Century Meissen figures of a boy and girl, he proferring a single fruit in his left hand, with a basket of apples in the other, she with a basket of roses, on tree-stump and rockwork mound bases with rococo scroll surrounds, blue crossed swords, incised and painted marks, Pressnummern, 13cm high and smallerThe figure of the Boy has losses to the tips of his right-hand fingers, where he would have held something or perhaps a handle.The figure of the girl has losses to the flowers' petals and leaves in both hands.Both figures have light surface scratches, nibbles around the base, various minor nibbles to the edges and raised decoration, such as his hat, her cloak. Some similar losses and wear to the glazed finish.
