19th Century Meissen figural sweetmeat basket, modelled as a recumbent maiden supporting pierced and floral encrusted oval basket, on rococo scroll base, blue crossed swords mark, incised 2875, Pressnummern, 18cm wideThere are losses to several flower petals and leaves. Some cracks to the basket, from the corners of the pierced work, but these appear to be from production.Some light surface scratches, nibbles around the base, various minor nibbles to the edges and raised decoration, such as her cloak. Some similar losses and wear to the glazed finish.
