19th Century Continental giltwood and gesso mirrorback console, of rococco influence and asymmetric form with rectangular mirror plate within folite scroll crested frame incorporating bracket shelf to the side, the lower stage shallow serpentine fronted top over closed back panel and scroll front supports, bracket half-shelf and conforming lower tier with scroll apron, raised on scroll and tapered feet, the whole painted cream with gilt highlights and scroll decoration, 105cm x 45cm x 223cm high
