The globular body supported on a tall, splayed foot, decorated to the exterior with lotus scroll divided by dark blue borders, set against a turquoise ground, the foot with scrolling vines beneath a plantain leaf band. The rims and base gilt.Provenance: From a Norwegian private collection.Condition: Good condition with old wear and expected manufacturing irregularities, such as crackling and pitting, few small dents and losses, the interior with some residue from extensive previous usage as a censer.
