A JADE WATERPOT, CHINA, 18TH CENTURYThickly walled and ofpressed globular form, supported on a circular foot with recessed base, and rising to a gently tapered rim with flat top. The superbly polished, translucent stone is of a pale-yellow tone with a greenish hue and cloudy white inclusions.Provenance: British trade.Condition: Excellent condition with minor wear, minuscule nibbling.
