黄绍箕，浙江瑞安人。光绪六年进士。授编修，官侍讲，爱才好士，曾为康有为延誉。“戊戌政变”失败后，闻讯冒险告康有为，使康免于难，遂为荣禄所恶，辞官归里。不久，起用为湖北提学使，卒于官。绍箕博学能文，精于金石书画之学。
