拍品为清代经典陈设用器，造型端庄典雅，线条优美流畅，器型源于宋代酒器，因诗句“玉壶先春”而得名。本品器型端庄周正，胎体细密坚实，外壁罩施霁红釉，釉面略显橘皮纹，呈色深沉稳定，较为难得。@霁红釉，是明清两代烧造工艺难度较大的高温颜色釉品种，清时有“官古窑成重霁红，最难全美费良工。霜天睛书精心合，一样抟烧百不同”之说，由此可见，烧成一件霁红釉器并非易事。
