拍品属崇祯时期自然趣味佳作，罐身饱满端正，形似莲子，故名莲子罐。@口沿装饰一周大小相间的蕉叶纹，肩部及近足处暗刻卷曲纹与卷草纹各一周以作辅助，腹部主题纹饰取自芦雁“飞鸣食宿”图中的“飞”与“鸣”，两只芦雁遨翔于空际，羽翼伸张，足爪微收，雁身向上，直颈向下，张口鸣叫，尽显野趣，分布水中之荷莲芦苇，丰茂秀美，于风中摇曳生姿。可谓动植物搭配合宜，尽显野外之生态。@全器用笔流畅，画面布局层次清晰，苍劲中见秀润，浑厚中显劲峭，色泽浓艳，工艺精湛，为崇祯青花之精品。
