AN EARLY TIBETAN CARVED WOOD FIGURE OF A STANDING BUDDHA mounted on a later base.56cm highIn good overall condition. The arms are loose and the paint has worn off in most places. One of the winglets on the arms hase loose and is only held on by one nail but there are no other moving parts. There are some shrinkage cracks through the body and head. The Buddha would have originally held something in its hand which is now missing.
