此件帽顶用材珍异，造型亦极华丽，整器用金累丝工艺作胎，其上嵌白玉、东珠。帽顶最上方为金累丝花瓣，承托一椭圆形白玉珠。其下方用两颗硕大的东珠分隔为两部分，皆用金累丝与珍珠组合为四龙戏珠造型。帽顶底部用金丝累作半圆形座。
清代帽顶不仅用作装饰，更是身份等级的象征，亦称“顶戴”。此类金累丝与珍珠装饰的帽顶，为清代皇室成员方可使用。此件帽顶用东珠10颗，依清礼当为亲王所用，颇为珍贵。
