Han Dynasty period.Height: 1 1/8 in (2.8 cm) Diameter: 1 7/8 in (4.9 cm) 本器為玉劍飾中的劍首，為鑲嵌於劍柄持握底端之物。古籍中記載劍飾用品不僅是貴族身份的象徵物，更是天子饋贈臣子以為榮寵之賞賜。青玉製成，質地緻密有光澤，包漿肥厚，色澤純正濃郁，局部帶有灰皮，正面四周雕刻“谷紋”，顆粒飽滿，分佈均勻，佈局規整，立體感強。中心打挖雕飾“如意紋”。背面光素，經拋光後寶光盈盈，十分悅目，琢有圓形溝槽，以便與劍柄契合
