PEPPINGHEGE, BERNHARD (also Bernt Peppinghege, Münster 1893-1966 Angelmodde), hand-coloured etching: "Der Weg zum Dorf", monogrammed "B. P." in pencil lower right and inscribed "Orig. Rad." lower left. (Original etching). Peppinghege, who studied in Düsseldorf and Munich among other places, was the initiator and co-founder of the artists' association "Die Schanze" in Münster in 1919, which still exists today.
