鱼符是唐高祖李渊发明的一种鱼形符契，除了作为征调军队的凭证外，也是官员出入宫门身份的标志。此鱼符白玉质，玉质莹润，表面带红沁，雕刻极富装饰感。裁出鱼形，在鱼两面以浅浮雕、阴刻线手法以回纹、阴刻线表现出方眼、鱼鳃、鱼鳞、鱼鳍、鱼尾等细部特征，背鳍线条排列整齐，鱼鳞则错落有致，呈现线条不同形态的美感，体现了高明的设计巧思。鱼嘴处打小孔，可供穿系。整件造型拙朴有趣，形象生动，古意盎然。 来源：香港藏家珍藏，购于2000年以前
