念珠，又称佛珠或数珠，系念佛菩萨圣号或持咒时计数和束心的工具，是以多用以修行。中国传统文化中，手持念珠随时诵念，可以提醒道念，增加定力，增长智慧，庄严威仪。非佛教徒亦有配戴佛珠，皆因民间亦多相信配戴佛珠可保平安，成为一种有价值的艺术作品。此串念珠水晶质，选料珍贵，皆雕刻纹饰，共108颗，据「木槵子经」、「数珠功德经」等书籍记载，108 颗表示求证百八三昧而断除百八烦恼。整件制造精美，饰配华巧，令人爱不释手。 来源：英国私人收藏
