Lin Fengmian1900 - 1991Mother and Sonink and colour on paper, framed signed, with 1 seal of the artist66.8 x 66.5 cm 26¼ x 26⅛ in.----------------------------------------------林風眠　柳湖春雨伴親歸設色紙本　鏡框款識：林風眠。鈐印：「林風瞑印」。 註：母愛的缺失，影響林風眠一生，鑄就他的性格底色，作品中也時時縈繞揮之不去的孤獨感，「寶蓮燈」所影射的救母情結，大概同樣出於對母親家庭遭遇的反應。林風眠的母親為苗族人，平時喜穿藍布衣，本幅所寫母親即著藍衣白褲，偕髫齡小兒，吻合林風眠與母親相處之年紀，湖青柳綠的春日，隨母親匆匆歸家躲雨，尋常而具溫情，或許這樣的時刻，是他爲數不多的屬於母親的暖心記憶。據款印、畫風，本幅應屬五十年代前期作品，選用箋紙具榮寶齋水印。五十年代，林風眠夫人愛麗絲携女兒林蒂娜遠赴巴西定居，林氏不時寄畫至巴西，支持妻女在異國的生活。本幅即林蒂娜透過臺灣駐巴西有關單位工作人員釋出市場，後轉售至臺北，現藏者即於一九八三年得於上述來源。66.8 x 66.5 cm 26¼ x 26⅛ in.品相: -Generally in fair to good condition with light foxing. Three paper loss points on left area, mild scratches on upper right area can be found, all of which can be alleviated by restoration.
