Huang Binhong1864 - 1955Scenery of Xixiink on paper, framedsigned, dated 1953, with 1 seal of the artist32 x 29.1 cm 12½ x 11½ in.--------------------------------------------黃賓虹　西溪紀遊水墨紙本　鏡框　一九五三年作款識：西溪紀游。癸巳寫此。賓虹。鈐印：「黃賓虹」。 來源：新加坡著名收藏家陳景昭「百虹樓」舊藏香港蘇富比，二○一一年四月，中國書畫拍賣，編號1295註：陳景昭（1907-1972），廣東潮安人，父陳兆五乃嶺東金石書畫名家。早年負笈上海，畢業於暨南大學法學院經濟系。自幼在家庭薰陶下，隨父習書法篆刻，求學上海期間，課餘向謝公展、黃賓虹等請益。一九四九年，移居星洲後，與賓老聯繫並不疏落，時有書信互通，談畫論藝，又亟索書畫。得此機緣，他遂大肆搜集，舉凡條幅、扇面、冊頁，量多質精，故顏其室曰「百虹樓」。本幅即其藏品之一，當屬賓虹應所求而寄贈。本幅署年「癸巳」，畫家已屆九十耆齡。時眼患最劇，但筆下仍勤，不拘形似，自書胸中邱壑，意到筆隨，奇趣自生。畫題曰「西溪紀游」，乃其晚歲愛取之題。畫中落筆急疾俐落，點景狀物，心意成之，捨形而存神，熟鍊中，別具生澀樸拙之韻致。用墨不枯不滯，淡中仍生變化，層次隱顯於精微中。尺幅不大，但幾盡攝賓老晚年筆墨爐火純青之功。32 x 29.1 cm 12½ x 11½ in.品相: -Generally in fair to good condition.
