款识：“大明宣德年制”六字三行楷书款
冲耳炉形制源出宋代瓷炉，宣德皇帝以其置于政务殿阁，盖因取其“敬天法相”之意也。因其线条优雅流畅，故而被后世广泛应用于宫廷、文房、祭祀等重大场所。
炉唇口外侈，口沿对设冲耳，耳线粗韧，颈部微竖，腹部扁鼓，丰腴微垂，腹下急收，底承三乳足，踞地沉稳，三足间开框见方，“大明宣德年制”六字楷书铸款，时代特征鲜明。藏经纸色皮壳黄润可人，内现雪花金，奇彩外溢，宝光内蕴，外饰点金，遍洒炉身，盈实之余，亦显精妙。
