The George V writing box stamped 'Edwards & Sons 181 159 Regent St W. by appointment to the King & Queen', of rectangular form with a handle to the top and a Bramah lock enclosing a partitioned lift-out tray to the interior fitted with various implements, and containing a group of Lady Parson's personal ephemera below; party invites, mourning cards, letters etc. 5½'' (14 cm) high, 13'' (33 cm) wide, 9½'' (24 cm) deep. (Edward Henry Edwards, Charles Alfred Edwards, and John Frederick Edwards 159 & 161 Oxford Street, London established: 1895-1928). The small faux crocodile skin leather jewellery case stamped JC Vickery 179 181 183 Regent St W with a carrying handle to the front and stamped GW Brown & Co lock with key enclosing a fitted interior with a yellow velvet linedpartmented tray to the top (John Collard Vickery established: 1891-1930).
