Ca. 15th-16th Century AD. A rare 15th-century blue-and-white stem cup with a slight blue-tinged glaze, the cup is decorated with birds on a branch. The interior features a character ('yue', meaning 'moon', half of 'ming') enclosed in double blue lines, the tall stem flared at the base. Some heaping and piling can be seen in the dark cobalt.
