Two iron frames joined crosswise in the middle, 1 cm thick. The outer thirds of the sides approx. 3 cm wide, the inner third approx. 1.5 cm. On the outer sides inlaid gold wire with various patterns: meander, wave tendrils, opposite triangles with hatching, herringbone pattern. On the top, a modern seat made of crossed leather strips connected with rivets, which make the folding chair look much more impressive. Height 66 cm when folded, 54 cm when unfolded. Dimensions seat 43 x 44 cm. Well preserved, expertly restored iron substance. Provenance: Spanish private collection, acquired in 2021 in the English art trade.
