Alexander in magnificent armour charging towards the leader of the rebellion, the recoiling Hermolaus. On the right-hand side, a group of scholars led by Callisthenes, balanced by Alexander's military entourage on the left. A continuous border with festoons of fruit and leaves around the edge.
