Gilt silver. On three ball feet. The cylindrical body with chased rocailles and leaf ornaments on a stippled background. The domed lid in the same design. A monogram at the centre inscribed with a Cyrillic dedication and date (tr.) "To our dear superior Vladimir Kalstirovich Hartinov 15 July 1861". A coat of arms engraved on the front of the tankard. Base and inside of the lid stamped with the city mark, fineness "84", assayer's mark I. Avdejev "IA 1860" and master's mark "VS" in Cyrillic. Dimensions 15 x 15 x 11 cm, weight 560.5 g.Vladimir Kalstirovich Hartinov was promoted to Major General on 24 November 1866. At the time of the dedication, holding the rank of colonel, he was transferred with the appointment of themander of the newlyposed 4th Reserve Battalion to the Kazan Infantry Regiment of His Imperial Majesty Grand Duke Michael Nikolaevich.
