POCKET WATCH STAND / so-called Porte Montre, end of the 19th century, ebonised wood, turned and carved. Architectural construction: moulded round stand, on top two pillars with richly balustrated shafts supporting a profiled round arch. Round arch with probably secondary hook suspension. Architekturaufbau: Gemuldeter Rundstand, darauf zwei Pfeiler mit reich balustrierten Schäften einen profilierten Rundbogen tragend. Rundbogen mit wohl sekundärer Hakenaufhängung. H. 13,5 cm, D. 9 cm.
