Description

题识：墨渖淋漓笑牧溪，但开风气不为师。定庵句。偶然兴到非临古，画个禽儿枝上啼。爰。|钤印：张爰之印信（白文） |图绘枯枝横斜而生，枝竹掩映，上栖幽禽，似啼后左顾相视。题识前一句“墨渖淋漓笑牧溪，但开风叶不为师。”是张大千借言庵之句。言庵即吴熙载（1799～1870），原名廷黻，字让之，江苏仪征人。师事邓石如的学生包世臣，是邓石如的再传弟子，书法以篆隶见长。后一句诗“偶然兴到非临古，画个禽儿枝上啼”才是张大千自信满满的天纵其才，不临古也能胜过牧溪。牧溪（1210－1281），俗姓李，是南宋的禅僧画家，南宋灭亡后圆寂。
