题识：南无阿弥佗佛。壬申冬为化佛居士修佛，关炯题。|钤印：别樵居士（白文） |说明：关炯，字炯之，从字行，湖北荆州人。举人。笃信佛教，去官后致力于宗教及慈善事业，1933年创办上海佛教慈幼院，自任院长。1937年抗战爆发后，作为救济难民委员会的主要成员，利用自己的影响筹集捐款，建立难民收容所，并输送难民参加新四军。上海沦为“孤岛”后，坚拒日伪诱惑，不出任伪职。
