题识：街头伦担挑，还把生刍束。一入庸奴手，贵贱从人欲。辛酉春，吴昌硕年七十八。|钤印：吴俊之印（白文）、吴仓石（朱文）、一孤之白（朱文） |吴昌硕笔下的花卉，博取徐渭、石涛、赵之谦各家长处，并取篆、隶、狂草的笔意入画，继承“扬州八怪”画风，下笔如急风骤雨，色酣墨饱，布局重整体，尚气势。他说：“奔放处不离法度，精微处照顾气魄。”因此一笔一画，一枝一叶，匠心独运，配合得宜。 |此《兰石飞涧》为其晚年力作，图绘奇峰屹立，溪泉湍急，幽兰清品，绝壁丛生。缶翁以篆笔写兰于绫本之上笔力苍劲老辣，纵横恣肆，构图出奇，极富金石古拙之气。书印章法布白，高古得体。一石一兰一飞泉，有骨有香存高节。实可宝之。
