郑绍谦，道光三年进士，曾任普洱知府。
臂搁正面浅刻山水诗文，远处崇山峻岭，近有垂柳人家，山坡上茅屋三两间，刻工勾勒出一幅青山春水，山野人家的世外桃源画卷。
此器刻工精致细腻，枝叶曲折遒劲，似有春风之感，山石杂草以皴点表现，各处细节均刻画得一丝不苟，显示出炉火纯青的竹刻技艺。整器雕刻技法娴熟，纹饰题材极具文人雅趣，生动地营造出嘉定竹刻的文人意境。
