A Chinese blue glazed famille verte vase, dating from the 19th century. The vase has a wide base that angles outwards slightly with a sharp shoulder and a thick, flared neck with wide mouth. The body and neck each have two panels of design of Chinese figures in a Chinese environment. The remainder of design is gold leaves and insects on a blue ground.
