DescriptionIncludes a 19th century 14kt yellow gold mounted pendant or brooch displaying a beautiful portrait miniature of a young girl - with inscription verso reading, "Anna Mary Wood Taken November 1854 Aged 20 Months". Pendant/brooch is suspended from an 18kt yellow gold rope twist chain necklace - stamped, "18K" to clasp. With the addition of a contemporary 14kt yellow gold bail which allows the pendant to hang more evenly from the chain. Total approx. weight of the locket and additional bail is 16.4 dwt (gross); total approx. weight of the 18kt gold chain is 16.8 dwt (gross). From a Scarsdale, NY estate.
