A SMALL ARCHAISTIC HONEY JADE DISC, QING DYNASTY OR EARLIERChina, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) or earlier. Crafted in the style of the Hongshan culture, executed in manual carving and chiseling with clear lines and smooth surface. The irregular disc with wavy edges is finely incised with archaistic motifs. The semi-translucent stone displaying attractive honey to amber hues.Condition: Good condition with extensive wear and rubbing to the surface. Provenance: Estate of Wolfgang Zacke (1942-2022), co-founder of Galerie Zacke, thence by descent. Acquired in the Hong Kong antiques market in the early 1990s. Weight: 18 g Dimensions: Diameter 5 cm
