AN ARCHAISTIC GREEN JADE PENDANT OF A CICADAChina, 20th century. Executed in the style of the Hongshan culture, showcasing manual carving and chiseling. Finely crafted as a cicada with folded wings and large bulging eyes, two small, pierced openings between the eyes for suspension. The opaque stone of a green tone with cloudy white and russet inclusions and surface alterations.Condition: Very good condition with minor wear and minuscule nibbling here and there. Provenance: Estate of Wolfgang Zacke (1942-2022), co-founder of Galerie Zacke, thence by descent. Acquired in the Hong Kong antiques market in the early 1990s. Weight: 51 g Dimensions: Length 6.8 cm
